Anne Phung Nguyen

Hi, I'm Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my stunning fianc JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. Most people know me through my Instagram account @annephung, where I talk about my personal life- my highs, lows and all between. My parents welcomed me into America around 1990, and I was a mere one and a half years older. I would not be sharing my story with you today in the event that my parents did not work hard and make sacrifices. As I knew I could enjoy a brighter and more promising future I set out to be successful and do my parents happy. I was set with a goal in my life that was to go to college, land a job, marry, purchase a house and have kids. The life I had planned for myself was not the way it turned out to be. The amount of money I earned and the status of my position didn't make me feel happy. I felt as if I wasted my life for the opportunity to earn a salary. I had a love for fitness and being social and helping others when I was navigating the new direction in my life. I was drawn to personal training. In 2014, I started my own company. It will be my 7th anniversary in 2021. Being an Asian woman in the industry, there are very few of us. As a coach I'm hoping to make a difference by offering high-quality coaching to help others become healthier and happier. Also, I want in empowering others to achieve the goals they have set for themselves to accomplish whatever they would like to accomplish. My mother's passing was a tragedy that happened as my career began to gain momentum and I suffered the biggest loss in my entire life. The battle she fought for eight years with the disease has come to an end and she lies in Heaven. She will forever remain in my thoughts and brain. The universe has the ability to provide us with the exact thing we need, even when we're unable to comprehend the lesson in the time. My mother's death affected me greatly and I believe she gave me a second chance in life. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed. She was able to live a brand new and exciting life, and I got the chance to lead happy and fulfilled life. As I enter my 30's, I am alive and conscious it is true that I am living the present instead of merely living like I was in my past. I am sharing my experiences to you with the hope that you'll be able to connect through my thoughts and stories for you to know that you're not on your own, for you to know that you are beyond capable of anything you set your mind to that true love exists and that therapy is common and essential that a healthy lifestyle is the best type of wealth. My prayer is that you live your every moment to the fullest and that you will die with no regrets because that's the only thing we are able to count on in this existence.
